They remain in-limbo as members of this Group until the AKC Board of Directors deems that their Breed's genetic foundation, as well as founding parties has been well-established. These Breeds also remain registered in the AKC Foundation Stock Service until granted full status. As of April 2008, a total of 6 Breeds belong to the Miscellaneous Group.
