Welcome To Blueberryhill Bernese Mountain Dogs!

We currently have Newfoundlands and Berners. The love of the giant breed and a very reputable breeder of Berners convinced us that the two would go very well together.

All of are dogs are hand raised as babies with only a few exceptions coming to us as adults or rescues. Each dog has been obedience trained at the age of 4 months and some have moved on to advanced.

Barri has done carting and we are working on his title. Barri has been shown in confirmation and will continue until his championship is complete. Monty is working on his carting as well as his Obedience and Confirmation titles. Godiva is practicing her agility as she is a smaller Berner and will do well in this kind of working event. Each dog has a working title he or she is working on.

All of our breeding Berners are either prelimmed OFA and OFA’d at the age of 2 including, hips, hearts, elbows, Cerf. All of are Berners are clear of VWB through parentage. We will still test are breeding dogs on this. Their parents have had the same OFAs done.

We feel at this point limited registration/pet only is the way we will sell each puppy we produce here with our Berners. Each puppy will have had 3-dewormings,1 set of Vaccinations, heart checked by a specialist, Microchipped and come with a guarantee/contract! We have are puppies temperament tested at the age of 49 days old and each comes with the results of this testing. This is how we place them. We sell are puppies one way. Limited at $1,800. Not higher for full registration.

If you are a breeder than we are happy to talk over the reasons why we don’t sell with Full. If you are a club member than let us know and we will be more than happy to tell you about the breeder we bought our dogs from and all her experience in the breed.

Visitors are welcomed after each puppy has had their first set of shots by appointment only. All of are pictures are done by our professional Photographer, Jean Walker of Pet Prints. All babies will come with a professional picture in their puppy packet we provide.
