| The Mi-Ki, with only companion dogs in their background, are sweet, gentle, calm, outgoing and social. Most of all, they are extremely loving to people as well as other animals. They are often used as Therapy Dogs. Their high intelligence level makes them easy to train, whether potty training, obedience training or even agility training. The Mi-Ki will easily adapt to any lifestyle. They are the PERFECT BREED. |

| Mi-Ki's live well into their teens and have no known health problems. |

| The condensed official standard from Mi-Ki Breeders USA, Inc. Head and Skull - A small "apple domed" head with well-defined stop. The muzzle length varies from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches. Teeth - Level to slightly undershot. Eyes - Dark, round and expressive. Dark eye rims are preferred, but may be lighter in self colored or dilute dogs. Pink eye rims are a major fault. Ears - Very Mobile! The Mi-Ki ears can be carried erect or dropped. Both ears types are capable of "winging" their ears when extremely excited. Both ears must be either erect or dropped. All ears must be feathered. Height and Weight - The height is measured at the shoulder and is not to exceed 11 inches. Weight is in proportion to height. |

| Although there are smooth coats, most commonly the Mi-Ki's have long straight hair. They have hair instead of fur, which makes them non-allergenic and non-shedding. Combing with a metal comb once a week results in a beautiful coat. After a bath, the hair dries easily with a good toweling off and a comb out. |
