Welcome to While-Away Kennel at it's beautiful location in northeast Iowa.

Everyone enjoys showing off their "baby pictures". Thank you for letting me show you mine!

I've been breeding Cockapoos for several years now and it is honestly a labor of love. My career background has been in owning my own professional grooming business. I have also worked at many veterinary clinics.

I am ONLY raising first generation Cockapoos (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix), NOT second generation Cockapoos (Cockapoo/Cockapoo mix). All my "mammas" and babies are deeply loved and pampered.

Cockapoos are wonderful family pets and companions. They are loving and loyal, smart and funny. I sell most of my Cockapoos to families with children. Although they are low shedding, they will require some professional grooming. Some of the Cockapoos are less curly than others. All the other fine characteristics are the same, but they do not require as much grooming.
